What is the closest airport?

Newark Liberty International is the closest airport.  LaGuardia and JFK are also options, but are a bit further from Cedar Lakes Estate.

What should I wear?

While our wedding weekend is the end of July / early August, temperatures at night in Upstate New York can drop, so we recommend packing layers. Both our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside, and our Reception will be indoors. Women, please plan your shoe choice accordingly as elements of the event will be on the grass. Our dress code for Friday is Cocktail Attire, Saturday is Black Tie, and Sunday is Casual.

What else should I pack?

Athletic clothing and sneakers, a bathing suit and flip flops, your personal toiletries, sunscreen, bug spray, a water bottle. Don't forget your outfits for our Welcome Party, Wedding Day, and Farewell Brunch!

What should I expect from the weekend?

A wedding! But also lots of outdoor time, a beautiful lake side property that will be our home for the weekend, delicious food and drink, and time together. Maybe a few friendly competitions and some classic summer camp activities like zip lining and swimming! You can learn more about the property here.

When can I arrive to the property?

We have the property in full, for our guests, beginning on Friday, July 31st at 4pm, through Sunday, August 2nd at 12pm. The weekend starts with our Welcome Party on Friday evening, and ends with a Farewell Brunch on Sunday morning.

Will transportation be provided for guests not staying on property?

Transportation will be provided for guests staying offsite at hotels within our room block. Specifically, there will be transportation provided on Friday evening to and from our welcome party, and Saturday to our ceremony. Vehicles will then be available for guests to return to their hotels at the end of Reception and throughout our After Party. Please note, no transportation is provided for sunday brunch.

Do I need to plan for my own meals?

For guests staying onsite, all your meals (Friday Dinner, Saturday Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, and Sunday Brunch) are provided.
